Weddings



I grew up dreaming about weddings. Coming from an immigrant family with few relatives nearby, weddings were something I rarely witnessed and mostly imagined. But now I get to go to one almost every weekend and they represent something larger to me — family gathered in one place, love chosen and celebrated, and a once-in-a-lifetime moment where everyone you care about shows up. To me, weddings have always been about belonging as much as they are about love.
